Our Vision:- To inspire disengaged young people to reconnect with society through working with horses.
Our Mission:- To give young people, regardless of their background, the opportunity to develop their skills, enabling them to move forward in life and achieve success in whatever field they choose.
Programs we have developed at the Montana Project are designed to enhance the lives of young people and help them gain success in all walks of life, the work they do with the horses will allow them to use the skills they learn and transfer them to everyday life in a social setting.
Life skill develop through both theory and practical sessions, over 6 week certificated courses have proved very popular and major life changing improvements in Communication, Confidence, Relationships, Teamwork, Responsibility and Personal Achievement.
The 16 - 24 offer is a three day week provision, over a six week period of intensive study. All learner needs can be catered for, and include an English and Maths teaching element as standard. Learners will gain accreditation through NCFE from E2 - L1, depending on need.
Work skills based programs are included, focusing on CV writing and interview practice, meaningful work experience opportunities and enabling fast routes into local employment.
